Looking To Our Future

Our involvement with the Center For Healthy
Churches and our dialogues with each other have led
us to an awareness that we are on the threshold of a
new era. This awareness has created a readiness to
pursue new horizons in how we serve the Lord in a
more vital way. We are truly striving to find pathways
of new and creative ways to be responsible to the
remarkable legacy that has been given to us by those
who have been responsible servants of our good Lord
in days gone by.
We offer some of the challenges that loom before
us in the next chapter in the life of FBCSSI.

• To engage in exploring worship styles geared to reaching an ever-changing landscape of ministry
• To find creative ways of ministering in our unique resort context
• To seek ways of expanding Kingdom growth through invigorated Sunday School and Bible Study opportunities
• To be more intentional in spiritual formations as a tool for individual growth
• To revitalize our church in the approach of “Growing Younger”
• To strategically plan on how to best utilize and maintain our large complex and unused areas
• To be responsible stewards in all aspects of FBCSSI ministry
