Design & Engineering (M.A.D.E.) competition engages Burke County
middle and high school students in critical thinking, design, engineering,
and innovation in ways that work toward meeting the needs of local
industry while highlighting STEAM talent in our youth. MADE has awarded
more than $20,000 directly to STEAM education classrooms in Burke
County – now entering the seventh year. Recent competitions include the
2023 Marble Rollercoaster Challenge, 2022 Assembly Line Challenge, and
