                 Tucker was incorporated as a city in 2016 but has been an established community recognized since 1892.
                   A new railroad depot changed the course and pace of life when the Georgia, Carolina & Northern
                  constructed the railroad through the center of Tucker. New business flourished: a saloon and horse
                 track came to life on Fellowship Road. Tucker is named after an officer of the Seaboard Line Railway,
                              Captain Tucker, whose company acquired the founding railroad line.
