The Jackson County School System (JCSS)
is growing with its community, serving
approximately 8,400 students in six
elementary, two middle, and two
high schools.
With a graduation rate of 95.8% — ranking
it No. 15 of Georgia’s school systems —
JCSS focuses on student success through
leadership, character, and performance.
It was ranked 18th overall, No. 10 in
elementary, and No. 22 in high school
performance among the 206 city, county,
state, and charter school systems reported
in Georgia’s College and Career Ready
Performance Index.
