Opened in Americus, Georgia in 1963,
Magnolia Manor is a senior living facility that
prioritizes the care of its residents physically,
mentally, and spiritually. Magnolia Manor is a
continuing care retirement center, offering
independent and assisted living. The 392-acre
facility offers a rehab center, spa, full-length
pool, and fitness center.

“We just want to make sure that the residents
are taken care of,” said Ty Kinslow, Magnolia
Manor’s Senior VP of Communications.
“That’s our number one responsibility …
taking care of them and making sure they are
always feeling safe and secure.”
Magnolia Manor is a faith-based community,
reflected by their mission and by those who
support them, such as the League of Good
Samaritans, a group of donors who help cover
costs when residents can no longer afford it.
Being a faith-based community is important,
Kinslow said. “We want to provide that support
from a spiritual standpoint. We have chaplains
on all of our campuses, and it’s just not for
our residents but also for our employees …
someone that they can go to and talk to in
times of need. We not only have services
on the weekend, but we have a Bible study
for them if they want to participate. It’s just
something that’s very important for most all
our residents.”

and fostering a culture of service and support,
