Notes From My
many people who are either intimidated by the Bible, don’t understand it or Father’s Bible
consider it out of date with today’s society. So, I set out to explain the Bible in
layman’s terms. One of my gifts is making complicated things become simple
things. I also outline suggestions for reading the Bible, recommending books to Taking the Mystery out of the Mystery
start with in the Bible and those to avoid for the beginning reader.
Over the years, Gayle and I have had a number of pretty amazing things
happen to us or our family. All were providential and all of which show our
attempt to instill biblical principles in our everyday lives. These short stories
will tell the broader story of who we really are. The book will be especially
informative to our six-year-old grandson, Parker, so he will know a lot about
“Papa and B.G.” (B.G. is Gayle: “Beach Grandmother”).
