Welcome
After watching the Sea Island markets closely for another year (my 51st year
in real estate), I’ll tell you what I observed in our popular Neighborhood Guide
Market Report on pages 6-9 as I analyzed local real estate sales in our market.
This research reflects data and statistics for each neighborhood’s closed
sales for the previous three years, including the highest prices achieved in
2023. Once again, we are proud to have closed the highest priced sale on Sea
Island. Al Brown Company is the only real estate company focusing exclusively
on property on Sea Island and the neighborhoods offering Sea Island Club
memberships, and our commission rates are the most competitive. I invite you
to visit the testimony section of our website to get a smattering of what people
think of us. We are certainly not the largest real estate company, but we provide
the most intense focus on each client and each transaction.
While the real estate business and luxury home markets are great, what is
truly rewarding is seeing Jordan Brown Byer helping those with special needs,
mentoring teens who desperately need positive role models and assisting
seniors by offering hope and influencing others’ lives for the better. It’s a
beautiful thing. Read about the ABCo Initiative and some of Jordan’s recent
projects and work on pages 2-5. I’m proud to work alongside some of the most
benevolent people I know. The focus is on others, which is part of the process in
becoming the person God created us to be.
Speaking of which, in this publication you will learn of a book I have written.
After many years in the making, it’s a book initially intended for our daughters,
Anna and Jordan, titled, Notes from My Father’s Bible. The scope and purpose
of this book expanded in a significant way. Read about it on page 10.
