sister of John F. Kennedy, offers special needs
individuals the chance to compete in Olympic-style
games. Morningstar Children and Family Services, which
includes the Youth Estate Campus in Glynn County,
gives a home to children who otherwise might not have
one. These are just some of the organizations that ABCo
has partnered with since its founding in 2022.
ABCo has also supported Safe Harbor, which
serves families and children who have been abused or
neglected, and Coastal Georgia Honor Flight, which
provides travel for veterans to Washington, D.C., where
they are honored with a celebration for their service.
Jordan said ABCo is not simply a funding source,
but rather a hands-on endeavor to support work in the
community for those in need. “I’m looking for ways to
improve quality of life,” Jordan said. “I love seeing the
effect our work has on people.”
ABCo does not accept donations. Instead, it serves
as liaison between donors and organizations with
funding requirements. In addition, Jordan helps provide
volunteers, support, and in some cases funding directly
from ABCo. The ABCo Initiative is giving back to the
community while at the same time laying the foundation
for a more promising future.
Jordan is a native of St. Simons Island and is the
daughter of Gayle and Al Brown. She graduated from
the College of Charleston and then moved to San Diego,
California to work in finance. The ABCo Initiative brought
her home so that she could devote her time to work she
feels she was born to do. One of her hobbies is solving
puzzles, which is a skill she uses daily at ABCo.
