am blessed with amazing sisters.
We have made a pact as adults to
I get together from three different
states to have a sister trip each time
we have a “big 0” birthday.

My oldest sister chose a visit to
New York City with its neon lights,
shows, luxury hotels and fine dining.
A few years later I picked hiking the
Georgia section of the Appalachian
Trail, complete with a black sky
filled with twinkling stars, fleeting
deer, bubbling streams, trail mix
and a sleeping bag. We three
IS HIKING THE love experiencing life from
different perspectives.
My favorite story of hiking the
APPALACHIAN TRAIL A.T. begins with my sisters’
fear of bears. I tried to
reason with them,
informing them
