Home Dunwoody combines the best of working, living,
and playing, all in one 13 square mile area.
With such high rankings as “Best
Suburbs for Millennials in Georgia,”
“Best Places to Retire in Georgia,” and
“Best Suburbs to Live in Georgia,”
among others, it’s clear that Dunwoody
is one of the top places to live in
the state.

a place for you
Explore all that Dunwoody has to offer- work, play, shop and
enjoy! Are you looking for an urban lifestyle or a small-town feel?
If you live in Dunwoody, you could choose either option! This
little gem of a town, population 45,000 is nestled on the north
side of I 285, known to the locals as “The Perimeter Area”. Some
say that “all roads to and from Atlanta lead to Dunwoody.”
During the past 28 years that I have lived here and run my
business, I’ve enjoyed watching the city grow. Dunwoody offers
plenty of homeowner opportunities ranging from single-family
ranches, and two-story houses to condos, townhouses and luxury
homes. There are 5 unique Gateways in the community, Perimeter
Mall, Dunwoody Village, Williamsburg at Dunwoody, Georgetown
and Winter’s Chapel, each with its own unique personality. You
will find great shopping as well as local restaurants like Wright’s
Gourmet, McKendrick’s Steak House, Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria,
Eclipse se Di Luna and Alon’s Bakery and Market.
If you enjoy the outdoors you will enjoy our many bike paths
and sidewalks. You will find numerous parks in Dunwoody that
hold annual festivals and events that benefit the community. One
of my favorite festivals is The Dunwoody Preservation Trust’s
annual Lemonade Days that is held every spring at Brook Run
Park. 2019 will be its 20th anniversary. All proceeds benefit the
upkeep of 1870’s Donaldson-Bannister Farm, another public park.
Don’t miss out on the Dunwoody Nature Center’s annual Butterfly
Festival or visiting the newest park, Pernoshal Park. No matter
what you’re looking for, Dunwoody has a place for you!
