and event facilities, Brook Run Park offers
something for everyone.
The Brook Run Dog Park is the perfect
outdoor experience for pets and their
owners. The area is approximately two
acres and is completely fenced in and in
a wooded area for a natural experience.
There is a separate park for smaller dogs.
For locals with a green thumb, the Brook
Run Park Community Garden is a great
place to enjoy nature. Growing organic
fruits and vegetables, the garden offers 20
percent of its proceeds to charity and is a
great way to reconnect with the earth while
giving back to the community.
The Dunwoody Nature Center also
provides a way to reconnect with nature.
Located in Dunwoody Park, the nature
center provides environmental awareness
and outreach programs for children and
adults and hosts more than 10,000
program participants and 25,000 park
visitors a year.
