On The Trail
Mile Detailed Trail Description
From the parking area, walk to the furthest south (right)
0.0 part of the lot. Cross dirt road and you’ll see a path
continuing to head south into the wooded area. Take this
path.
By this point you’ll be in the thicker wooded area and well
0.1 on your way on the Nature Trail. There’s a small pond off
to your left and begin slight climb of 50 vertical ft. over next
0.1 mile.
0.3 Trail curves to the east (left), and continues in heavy
wooded area.
Emerge from woods. Cross wood bridge, 18th century
0.6 powder magazine area to your left. Walk to dirt road, turn
left and head towards buildings and parking area.
0.7 Arrive back at parking area where you began.
