                                                                                     U.S. News & World Report ranked Claflin in
                                                                                 the top ten best Historically Black colleges and
                                                                                 universities for the academic year 2022-23. It
                                                                                 has been in the top ten for the magazine for 12
                                                                                 years running. With an average class size of 16
                                                                                 students and 38 undergraduate majors, Claflin
                                                                                 offers an exceptional experience for students
                                                                                 from South Carolina and beyond.
